Zoom Chess for All Ages

What:
This class is hands-on and interactive for everyone to enjoy. All the chess sets are supplied for in-person practice. The lessons are animated so you can see the movements of the pieces easily. I’ve taught these interactive online chess seminars many times in a professional and enjoyable manner using an animated presentation with interaction, loads of examples, and class participation.

Who:
Chess is a family activity that is fun for all ages from children to
grandparents. Sessions may include adults, teens, and children ages 8 and up.
Where:
In-person at your library or hall or...
remote teaching on Zoom, Facebook Live, or WebEx is also available.
When:
I'm flexible. Let me know a date/time that is best for you. I have many open slots to schedule classes. I recommend a weekday evening at 7pm.
Fee:
$250 per session. Each class lasts approximately an hour and 15 minutes.
Class size:
I can accommodate up to 50 people per chess session.
What to bring:
For remote classes, students will need access to Zoom. Since teaching is done online with examples, interaction, animations and quizzes, a chess set is unnecessary.

Chess Tactics
This chess class is hands-on and interactive for beginners who want to improve their chess games. This class gives students an introduction to chess tactics that are immediately useful in winning. They form a way to get ahead of your opponent in material, surprise your opponent, and understand the game better. Students should already be familiar with how the pieces move. We will cover:
